Program Overview


Master of Laws (LL.M)

The Master of Laws (LL.M) program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of law and its applications. The program is divided into two parts: Model Path part 1 and Model Path part 2.


Model Path part 1

In the first part of the program, students take mandatory and methodological courses, as well as a module of their choice. The mandatory courses include:


  • Law of the European Union
  • Public International Law and International Enforcement
  • Constitutional Principles and Human Rights
  • Private International Law

The methodological courses include:


  • Legal Research Methodology
  • Empirical Research Methods in Law
  • Academic Writing, Oral and Communication Skills
  • Global Legal Systems

Students also start working on their Master's Project part 1, which includes a research proposal and a legal clinic.


Model Path part 2

In the second part of the program, students take two elective courses and complete their Master's Project part 2. The elective courses include:

The Master's Project part 2 is a master's thesis that requires students to conduct original research and write a thesis under the supervision of a faculty member.
