Preparatory program in communication sciences
Program Overview
Introduction to the Preparation Program in Communication Sciences
The preparation program in communication sciences is designed for individuals who have an academic bachelor's or master's degree that does not provide direct admission to the desired master's program. This program enables students to acquire the necessary knowledge and research skills to successfully start the master's program.
What is a Preparation Program?
A preparation program is a program that allows students to gain the specific knowledge and skills required for a master's program. Upon completion of the preparation program, students receive a certificate, which grants them admission to the master's program.
Admission Requirements
To determine if you need to follow the preparation program, carefully read the admission requirements. The admission requirements outline the necessary qualifications and prerequisites for the program.
Exemptions
In some cases, students can apply for exemptions from certain course components. Exemptions can be granted based on:
- Work or practical experience (EVC): follow the EVC procedure
- Credit certificates, diplomas, and other study certificates obtained in a previous program (EVK): send an email with a list of course components for which you think you can receive an exemption and a scan of your diploma supplement
An EVK does not automatically grant an exemption. The faculty compares the EVK with the course component to be followed.
If a student is exempt from a course component, they will not receive a credit certificate for that component. The exemption will be noted on the diploma supplement.
