Political communication preparation program
Program Overview
Introduction to the Preparation Program
The preparation program is designed for individuals who have an academic bachelor's or master's degree that does not provide direct admission to the desired master's program. This program enables students to acquire the necessary knowledge and research skills to seamlessly transition into the master's program.
What is a Preparation Program?
A preparation program is a course of study that provides students with the opportunity to gain the specific knowledge and skills required for a particular master's program. Upon successful completion of the preparation program, students receive a certificate, which grants them admission to the master's program.
Admission Requirements
To determine if a preparation program is necessary, students must carefully review the admission requirements. The requirements outline the necessary prerequisites for admission to the master's program.
Exemptions
In some cases, students may be eligible for exemptions from certain course components. Exemptions can be granted based on:
- Work or practical experience (EVC): students must follow the EVC procedure
- Credit certificates, diplomas, and other study certificates obtained in previous studies (EVK): students must email a list of course components for which they believe they are eligible for an exemption, along with a scan of their diploma supplement
An EVK does not automatically grant an exemption. The faculty compares the EVK with the course component to determine eligibility. If a student is granted an exemption, they will not receive a credit certificate for that course component. The exemption will be noted on their diploma supplement.
Study Program
The study program for the preparation program is designed to provide students with the necessary knowledge and skills to succeed in the master's program. A sample schedule is available for review.
