Micro-credential: Pati螚tenrechten

The Micro-credential: Pati螚tenrechten is a two-year program that starts in even academic years.

Studiegeld

The tuition fee for this program is 1000 euro. The following are included in the tuition fee:

• Handboek: Handboek gezondheidsrecht (tweede editie - soft cover), published by Intersentia in September 2023. This handbook consists of two volumes, each with 1300 pages. Upon registration for this micro-credential, you will receive volume 2.
• Free participation in the study activities of the AHLEC and ALLIC chairs during the current academic year
• Lesson materials in digital form
• Catering during breaks for Saturday lessons (coffee, tea, water, and snacks)
• Participation in lessons and two exam sessions
• Access to all student facilities: wifi on campus, student portal and online learning environment, student mailbox, library, study landscapes, etc.

Korting

The following participants are eligible for a 50% discount on the tuition fee:

• Members of the AHLEC steering group - maximum 3 staff members
• Members of the ALLIC steering group - maximum 1 staff member
• Staff members of the University of Antwerp
• Students of the University of Antwerp (enrollments for the academic year -> a valid enrollment during the academic year or later is sufficient)

An additional 25% discount is available when registering for 3 or more micro-credentials that fall under the Postgraduate Health Law and Health Ethics program.

When registering for more than one micro-credential, part of the postgraduate program in health law and health ethics, you will receive the following handbook: Handboek gezondheidsrecht (second edition - soft cover), published by Intersentia in September 2023. This handbook consists of two volumes, each with 1300 pages.

• If you register for more than one micro-credential, you will receive both volumes.
• If you register for only one micro-credential, you will receive only the handbook applicable to that micro-credential.

Combineren van micro-credentials

When registering for more than one micro-credential, part of the postgraduate program in health law and health ethics, you will receive the following handbook: Handboek gezondheidsrecht (second edition - soft cover), published by Intersentia in September 2023. This handbook consists of two volumes, each with 1300 pages.

An additional 25% discount will be applied when registering for 3 or more micro-credentials that fall under the Postgraduate Health Law and Health Ethics program:

• Lichaamsmateriaal, geneesmiddelen en producten

Erkenningen

This micro-credential uses the following recognitions:

• OVB in application
• IBJ in application
• RIZIV in application
• FSMA: The University of Antwerp is accredited by the FSMA under number AB. Participation in this program gives the right to 1 training point/hour.
• This micro-credential is recognized by Vlaams Opleidingsverlof.
• Micro-credentials do not qualify for the BEV Brussel.

KMO-portefeuille

AHLEC is recognized as a training provider for the KMO portfolio system. By using these training vouchers, you can save up to 30% on the participation fees. The application for the KMO portfolio must be made at the latest 14 days after the start of the training. The participant undertakes to respect the rules set by the Agentschap Innoveren & Ondernemen.

The accreditation number for the KMO portfolio of AHLEC is DV.O.

Annulering

For the micro-credentials related to the postgraduate program in health law and health ethics, the same cancellation conditions apply as for the participants in this postgraduate program:

• Deelnemer
  • Only in writing by email to the organization.
  • If canceled up to 30 days before the start of the first lesson day, no compensation is due.
  • If canceled between 30 days and 10 days before the start of the first lesson day, a compensation of 25% of the registration fee is due.
  • If canceled less than 10 days before the start of the first lesson day, the full registration fee is due.
• Organisatie
  • If the minimum of 26 participants is not reached, the organization reserves the right not to organize the training.
  • This will be decided at the end of August/beginning of September.
