Admission Requirements

Read the admission requirements to discover if you can enroll directly, after a preparatory program, or after a bridging program for the master's program.

Bedrijfscommunicatie in het Nederlands en in één of twee vreemde talen

You will acquire the most recent insights and skills in business communication and learn to communicate strategically and effectively in a professional context. At native language level in Dutch, at C1 level in one or two foreign languages. You can choose between English, French, German, and Spanish.

Management

In the program, communication and management go hand in hand. Professional communication must be fully embedded in the management context. A good knowledge of several subdomains is crucial in the training of a communication professional. We assume you have no prior knowledge. To fill in this management component, we offer the following course components within the study program. You can take 12 study points from:

  • Organisational Development and Change Management
  • Strategic Management
  • Human Resource Management
  • Introduction to Financial Communication and Analysis
  • Marketing Management

If you have already completed a business economic university program, you will not follow the above introductory course components, but will further specialize through elective course components from the master's program in applied economic sciences: business administration.

Communicatieonderzoek

The final part of your program is, of course, your master's thesis, which you work on alone or in a duo. In the course component Communicatieonderzoek, you lay the foundation for this.

Praktijk

You will also come into contact with practice in many ways: through real-life cases, the communication project for a real non-profit organization, guest speakers, and many extracurricular activities.

Profileringsruimte

By filling in 6 study points yourself, you put your own emphasis in your study program. For example, you can choose a second language or elective courses such as Marketing Communications, Meeting and Negotiation, Intercultural Communication, or Web Communication and Digital Tools.

Maak het verschil met duurzame communicatie

Sustainable entrepreneurship is the new entrepreneurship and means not only effort on social, ecological, and economic fields but also sustainable communication. Therefore, we give you more insight into sustainable communication strategies and attach great importance to building and maintaining long-term professional relationships through all communication channels. During your program, you will learn more about sustainable communication and sustainable management. For example, you will participate in the Interdisciplinary Project Day with students from various faculties and learn to apply your field of study in a sustainable way.
