Program Overview

This PGCE in Secondary English with Media prepares individuals to become fully-qualified teachers for 11 to 16-year-olds. The program combines university-based instruction with school-based training, equipping students with the skills and knowledge to promote literacy, develop a love of reading, and effectively teach English and media. Upon completion, graduates earn Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), enabling them to pursue teaching careers in secondary schools.
